Hydro provides most of Norway's power in October

- Norway produces 11.53 terawatt-hours of electricity in October

Hydropower produced 93.7% of Norway's electricity in October, equivalent to 10.80 terawatt-hours (TWh), according to Statistics Norway (SSB) on Thursday.

In addition to hydropower, the country produced 3.9% of its electricity from wind power and 2.4% from thermal power.

The country's total electricity production was 11.53 TWh in October.

The largest share of consumption composed of the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, and power-intensive manufacturing.

The Nordic country's electricity consumption decreased by 13.2% in October, compared to the same period last year.
