The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Friday.
The lowest rate is set at 250 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 13% to around 1.43 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,370.77 liras and 2,360.48 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1500-1900 GMT), while the lowest was set at 615.11 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 38.02 liras at 2.29 p.m. local time (1129 GMT) on Friday.
