Spot market electricity prices for Sunday, June 15

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.4 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on T眉rkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,399 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Saturday.

The lowest rate was set at zero lira at between 10 a.m. and 12 a.m. local time (0700-0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 35% to around 913.55 million liras compared to Friday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,599.39 liras and 1,600.60 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,399 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 501.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 39.41 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
