Iran’s security council evaluates measures after strike on Israel

- Supreme National Security Council reviews continuous response to ‘any enemy mischief'

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council met Friday evening to assess the ongoing responses and preparations following Iran’s initial attack on Israel.

The meeting, chaired by the head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, reviewed earlier plans for maintaining a continuous response to “any enemy mischief with emphasis on their implementation."

In the early hours of Friday, Israeli forces attacked Iran, hitting nuclear and missile facilities and killing over 104 people, including top military commanders and scientists, and injuring nearly 380 others.

According to reports, Iran responded with ballistic missiles targeting several areas across Israel, killing three people and injuring over 170 others.

The attacks killed Iran’s chief of staff, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), several top commanders, and nine nuclearÌý²õ³¦¾±±ð²Ô³Ù¾±²õ³Ù²õ.

Many countries, including Türkiye, have condemned Israel’s action.
