Around 80% of Polish companies with more than 200 employees know that environmental protection activities will become increasingly important in their industry within three to five years, according to a survey commissioned by Ernst & Young on Monday.
The survey, Is Polish Business Sustainable? reported that 91% of the companies engaged in recycling, while only 60% formulated actions to reduce carbon footprints.
The survey showed that 66% of companies consider environmental activities strategic for their sector, although 18% of organizations do not plan to take steps to reduce their carbon footprint.
At the same time, local companies are paying more attention to local problems.
