The trade volume on T眉rkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 214.4% to 419.8 million Turkish liras on Tuesday, T眉rkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Wednesday.
Total trade on Monday amounted to 133.5 million liras.
On Tuesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 26,100.04 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 16.8 cubic meters.
T眉rkiye received 97.19 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Tuesday.
US$1 equals 18.58 liras at 02.27 p.m. local time (1127 GMT) on Wednesday.
