The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,240 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Wednesday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 11 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of 52.8% to around 631.28 million liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,116.24 liras and 1,081.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,374.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 555.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.13 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Wednesday.
