Angel Di Maria returns to boyhood club Rosario Central

Benfica's veteran attacker Angel Di Maria has returned to boyhood club Rosario Central, the Argentine club announced Thursday.
Club's official Instagram account wrote, "A piece of paper, a signature... Where it all began, it begins again." with a picture of Di Maria signing a paper.
The 37-year-old Argentine wrote, "How wonderful it is to be back home. What a joy it is to be able to fulfill our dream. To live in our beloved Rosario and be able to wear the jersey of our beloved Rosario Central," in his personal Instagram account.
After beginning his football career at Rosario Central in 2005, Di Maria played for major clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Benfica, claiming more than 25 trophies along the way, including 2013-14 UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid.
He also scored 31 goals in 145 appearances for Argentina to help them bag the 2022 FIFA World Cup and two Copa America trophies.
